EDMSL is once again supporting the FA's Silent Support Weekend this year.  

On 2nd-3rd March, we’ll be asking our clubs to keep their sidelines silent, apart from the applause. 

This will give players the freedom to learn for themselves, coaches a safe space to teach without interruptions, and spectators the chance to step back and enjoy the game. #SilentSupport2024

Silent Support in a nutshell:

Players and Match Officials can keep talking on the pitch.

Coaches support the players as they need to - positive reinforcement only - let the players make their own decisions

Spectators support good play through applause only.
